The flies of Hermann Fischer, Canadian fl y tying champion, are beautiful, and yet Hermann assembles them with what seems to be only a few deft movements. “I love the look I can get with the right materials and carefully thought-out designs,” says Hermann. “These flies are meant to really look like what the fish is eating, and I’m pleased when other tyers think so, too.
